New Teacher Training Handbook

The updated New Teacher Training Handbook is now available online! The New Teacher Training Handbook 2005 includes an overview of the field of adult education in Virginia for the new teacher or teachers who may need a refresher. Additionally, trainings on this topic and a self-assessment CD are available upon request.

Virginia Literacy Foundation 2006-2007 Grants

The Virginia Literacy Foundation (VLF) is pleased to announce that applications for our 2006-2007 matching grants are now available for 501(c)(3) organizations. Our grants target organizations in Virginia that primarily provide literacy and numeracy services to adults 18 years and older.
