GED Holistic Essay Scoring

The GED essay is scored by readers who form an overall impression of the essay and assign a single score. This is called the holistic scoring method and it is different from the "analytic" scoring method commonly used to help learners identify areas for improvement. In this training, we will learn and practice the holistic scoring method so we can project the score that our learners will likely receive by official GED essay readers.
