General Video Questions and Troubleshooting

Question: Why won't the video play?

Answer: The videos included on this CD require a version of Microsoft Windows Media Player or compatible player that can playback Windows Media v7 files. You can download the latest version of Windows Media Player at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia

Question: Why don't I hear any sound?

Answer (PC): Not all computers have audio enabled. To check your audio settings click on start->Programs->Accessories->Entertainment->Volume Control or double click on the speaker icon in your system tray at the bottom right hand corner of your screen. Make sure that the mute buttons are unchecked and the volume bars are up between the half-way mark and the top. Finally, make sure that your speakers are connected properly, turned on, and the volume on the speakers is turned up. You may need to adjust your volume to the optimal level each time you watch a video.

Answer (Mac): Click on the speaker icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen and use the slidebar to adjust the volume level. You may also need to adjust the volume on your speakers.
