Distance Education Curriculum Submission Form
This is the form through which Regional Program Managers can submit curricula to the Distance Education Curriculum Review Panel. If needed, you can view the list of submission questions prior to submitting the form.

Approved Curriculum
This current (November 2021) list of approved distance education curricula is made public by the Virginia Department of Education, Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education.

Assessment Policy
The state policy for Distance Education provides requirements for counting students as distance learners, reporting, and more.

Remote Learning
The Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center has curated a remote learning resource bank for adult education programs. These resources can be used by program managers, program specialists, and instructors. Each section of the resource bank includes links to the tools’ websites as well as additional resources for implementation, instructional use, and student use.

Transforming Distance Education Course by EdTech Center@ World Education
This course was designed for education providers and practitioners teaching adult basic academic skills, ESOL, and literacy at a distance and/or through blended learning; it provides strategies and resources that are essential for both setting up and implementing distance education or teaching with a blended approach.
