Virginia’s professional development newsletter for adult education is actively seeking articles from the field. We are particularly interested in articles in the following areas.
Partnerships
(with employers, community colleges, other state agencies, nonprofits, etc.)
Career Pathways and Integrated Education and Training
College and Career Readiness
Standards-based Instruction
(at all skill levels)
Program Improvement and Instructional Quality
(This could include program changes based on enrollment or outcome data, classroom observation or inquiry projects, instructional coaching or teacher collaborations, etc.)
Innovative Approaches to Adult Education
(These could include classroom strategies, such as incorporating digital storytelling or
project-based learning; partnerships; or program strategies, such as alternative hours or team teaching.)
Promising Practices
(classroom or program practices that have yielded noticeable positive results;
experiences in applying research-based program or classroom practices)
Results of Grant-funded Projects or Initiatives
Integrating Technology
