Welcome to the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center. We provide adult education and literacy resources, publications, and training for teachers of adults in Virginia.

Our Mission: To equip the field of adult education and literacy with essential skills and resources by delivering innovative and effective training, publications, curriculum design, and program development.

Our Vision: That the field of adult education and literacy will have the best available tools and training to help adult learners build a better future.

IELCE Symposium

The IELCE Symposium 2017 will be held in Richmond on April 27-28. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 27. It will end at 2:00 on Friday, April 28.

The symposium this year will highlight:

  • Integrated Education and Training (IET) models
  • Immigration Issues
  • More on Civics It Up!
